"Love everyone, but only fuck the hot chicks."
For months, The Chemical Buddha tried to love everyone (and everything). Or at least everyone and everything that would let him 'love' it. And while it led to several awkward mornings of hung over haze looking at the latest whale he’d just harpooned, it also helped The Chemical Buddha decide he'd rather just fuck the hot chicks. So while he could still feel love towards all things, he didn’t need to express it physically with everyone. Especially those who were f'ugly. Unless he was really drunk or really horny or really high or just didn't want to sleep by himself or if every attractive woman he had hit on shot him down, then he would give up his pursuit of hot chicks and settle for whoever he could nail.
How often do you settle in your life?
What line do you need to draw between what you want and what you're willing to put up with?
How will making choices to go after what you want help you in your life?

Fuck This
“If you ‘don’t give a fuck’ then what do you charge?”
The Chemical Buddha could understand not giving a fuck, but he was confused when people would get mad when he asked what it would cost to fuck them. Isn’t that what they said? Fucks weren’t free? But when TCB looked around, he noticed lots of people didn’t do what they said they’d do. Like, ‘I’ll be there in just a second,’ but it would actually take them several minutes. Or they’d agree to do stuff just to cancel later. As if they were afraid telling someone no was too much for them to hear. We’re sure it comes as no surprise that TCB was in the ‘do as I say, not as I do’ camp built on Hypocrite Hill. (That way he had a good view to look down on other people and point out their shortcomings.)
How harshly to you judge other people? How harshly do you judge yourself?
What do you think when people don’t do what they say they’re going to do? To you do what you say you’re going to do?

Last on Love
“What’s love got to do with it?”
The morning after Valentine’s Day, The Chemical Buddha woke up face down in a crumb filled baking pan still holding an empty Pabst Blue Ribbon bottle in each hand, unconsciously humping the floor. For whatever reason, the above words from the immortal Tina Turner were echoing in his head. And he wondered to himself, ‘Yeah, what does love have to do with it? Why can’t it just be that you have some primal urges that need satisfying? What’s so wrong with that?’ If The Chemical Buddha had more time on his hands, check that, if he cared about it more, he’d do some research into the 'idea' of love. Is it just the feeling you have after someone makes you cum? Is it a build up of shared experiences? He actually did try to figure that out. But it was just easier to invest his energy in to just finding someone to fuck.
Do you believe you’ve ever truly been in love?
If so, why do you love who and what you love?

Wake me When You're Done
“Never trust a man who'd rather sleep than fuck.”
The Chemical Buddha’s mother played a big role in his early development. Like the insight from January 18th, this also comes from her. (While TCB’s father was asleep/passed out on the couch.) She often used the fact that her husband was ‘asleep’ to her ‘womanly needs’ to justify her dalliances. And she thought any man that would rather sleep than have sex with her, was full of shit. Because all men love to fuck her, and to say otherwise was an obvious lie. I’m sure if TCB asked his dad his thoughts on the matter, he would have gotten a completely different perspective. Believe it or not, this idea actually created some issues for The Chemical Buddha, because he loved to sleep. In fact, fucking, eating, and tripping were probably the only things that he liked more than sleeping. To go on further into his thoughts on these subjects, could give insight into future readings that you, dear reader, may not be quite ready to process. So, until they are revealed at their proper time, ponder these questions:
What do you sleep walk through in your life?
What’s the cost of not being fully awake? What would it take for you to wake up to your life?
