Dry Spell

"A day without sex is like a day of being married."
So it's pretty obvious The Chemical Buddha was never married. We actually think no woman ever even hinted around and or tried to get knocked up by him so he might feel obligated to get married. But he'd heard his friends complain enough about the lack of sex, that he figured he never would get married. TCB thought it was one thing to not get laid by the multitudes of women out there. And something else entirely to not get laid by the woman who you spent all your time around. It just didn't make sense to him. He'd rather start out the day knowing he wasn't going to get laid, instead of starting out the day thinking he was going to get laid, only to find out he wasn't.
Do you have high or low expectations?
How often are you disappointed in your life?
Are you a dreamer or do you think having a dreams is stupid?
How do you manage your hopes and dreams?

Shit Happens

“Don't complain about your life, because if you wanted to be someplace else, you would be.”
The Chemical Buddha didn’t have a lot of room for people who wanted to do something else but didn’t do it. He thought it was OK to dream, but take some movement towards your dream for Christ’s sake! He was also OK with venting/complaining but if you were going to consult him for the same issue multiple times, you might find him trying to take a shit on the top of your head. He always claimed it was to demonstrate how they’d move if someone was going to shit on them, so why won’t they take action when their life is shitty? And some people actually sat there while he emptied his bowels on them because it was a fitting metaphor for their lives.
Where are you now?
Where do you want to be?
If the two are different, what steps are you taking to get there?

A Date with Evil

“Even Hitler had a girlfriend.”
Historically, The Chemical Buddha didn’t have good Valentine’s Days. He’d usually end up alone, gorging himself on pot brownies and washing it down with a 12-pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon. While watching a late night biography on Hitler he had the above realization. Now sure, Hitler killed her right before he killed himself. But still, Hitler, one of the evilest men in the history of the world, had a girlfriend. For The Chemical Buddha, just the act of trying to wrap his head around that idea made the room spin. He eventually figured what it meant was everyone loves someone and has someone that loves them back. TCB took heart in the fact that when his love life felt it’s darkest his ‘Hitler’ was somewhere out there waiting for him.
